The Al & Dee Allegue Foundation continues its partnership with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, a Catholic lay organization, and Bread & Eggs, a free breakfast location in d'Iberville, in providing assistance through both monetary and food assistance.
Some financial assistance is provided to those families struggling in paying their monthly rent or mortgage payment to resolve a temporary setback or loss of employment. Additional assistance may also be provided to ensure critical utilities, such as water and electricity, are maintained in the home.
In partnership with the US Postal Service, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Twelve Baskets Food Banks, we provide weekly essential food items to those needing to nourish individuals and their families.
Regardless of your religious affiliation or non-affiliation, The Al & Dee Allegue Foundation is available to help you. We are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. We are young and old. Our members come in every shade of skin color. Some of us are wealthy, some are financially poor, but all of us are blessed with an awareness that our blessings (time, talent or treasure) are to be shared with our brothers and sisters in need.
